MIKE HENRY, A DEDICATED ATTORNEY who, early in his career, decides he wants to put bad guys away and changes from the defending side to the prosecuting side of the courtroom, becomes a star in the DA’s office. Mike is handed a case of drugs and embezzlement crossing state lines and many years. His investigation pits his mind against that of Jeremy Eastman, an apparent master criminal, but it also introduces Mike to someone who will become the most important person in his life. The case evolves into a second trial of multiple murders with Mike using all his resources and those of the FBI to navigate the myriad of clues to try to answer the question of who really did the crime.
