Overview

Letters to a Homeland Lost is my message in a bottle for anyone who has lost: a mother, a father, a home, a sense of self. For those given a new name, or searching for wholeness. These poems are letters home, written in a language that doesn’t quite fit, to people who cannot read them. They are the truth as I see it of … of grief, memory and especially the small acts of kindness that make life worth living. From the scent of coffee poured slowly into a glass to the ache of footsteps that were once the sound of home, this is a book for the ones walking the road alone, and anyone who has ever asked: “Who am I to you?”
