Táňa, the daughter of a pub owner, was born and raised in the Czech Republic, the country with the highest beer consumption per capita worldwide. Since her teenage years, she helped her dad run a small pub in their mountainous village. This gives her a unique understanding and appreciation for what goes into running a successful pub, as well as a mature understanding of different beer styles. Since 2011, Táňa has lived in the US. She spent the first 5 years exploring and hiking the Pacific Northwest, where she focused on gaining education in digital marketing while further embracing her love for the hospitality industry by working as a bartender, waitress, and party planner/event manager. When she’s not creating digital magic at PourMyBeer, she enjoys traveling, hiking, yoga, and reading (not all at the same time, but that does sound fun to try). She also spent 3 years living in Chicago and is now happily residing in Colorado, where she focuses on fostering big dogs and conquering Colorado’s 14ers one mountain at a time!
