This book is about a sweet little girl growing and learning about life. And while it’s a children’s book that a boy or girl will enjoy, I think its first audience is expectant parents. There are lots of things to think about during the pregnancy, but one important one is to name the child. The book points to the importance of a name — it can be a time for the couple to talk not only about possible names, but the ‘whys’ behind them. What does the name mean, is it a traditional family name, or is there another thoughtful reason for the name?. Later as the child grows, those reasons can be passed on to the child and give them a unique perspective and connection to parents and family.
The book can be a great gift too!
At the end, you will be feeling better than before you read it! A fun read.
