Human Journey To Self-Empowerment. Hope for the hopeless, for those who believe you have to be imprisoned in darkness, pain and emotional poverty. A voice for the voiceless that suffers in silence, suppressing their respective truth in order to live a lie, to avoid not being exposed and forced to be courageously vulnerable. Learning from family and relationship toxicity, which in turn the byproduct is elevation to a level of clarity to overstand the difference to not confuse the length of a relationship with the strength of a relationship. Last but not least, establishing success and not losing your foundation in the process. ‘ TROUBLESOME THE UNTOLD STORY’ (OVERCOMING THE STORMS) is a guaranteed page turner that will inspire and examine the emotional, social, and physical construct of one’s development.

This book is amazing! It touches upon so many factors in life that are overlooked and mainstream media don’t delve into enough. Things like being a runaway at a young age, drug abuse, gang violence, relationship issues and the trauma that can come with those issues, spiritual afflictions, spiritual discernment and so much more. This book is like it says, a human journey. It’s personal, yet objective at the same time as it has you walk in the authors footsteps and imagine experiencing these events yourself but also touching on factors that you may be dealing with at the moment or may even encounter in your future. A great read and I definitely recommend to all demographics.

An amazing read, thoroughly defining the peaks and valleys of life and how to navigate through perspective thinking. In this read one does not need to have experienced but needs to have an open mind on any obstacles ever faced in one’s life: from girl troubles to studying, this book teaches you balance and discipline. Salute to the author added with an exclamation point on the term: YES YES. I encourage this to all living. Thank you.

Troublesome is a must read. To anyone struggling on their walk with God, it’s a testament to how He is always with us. It’s a testament to His unwavering love for us no matter how far we stray from Him. I appreciate the true vulnerability it takes to go back and dig deep into some really dark times to publish a book like this. To bring up past traumas you’ve healed and moved on from for the sake of others to learn and grow from is admirable.

LaPoone is a childhood friend of mines. I’m about to be 48 in April. I haven’t seen Laponne in since I was 13 year’s old. Lavonne gave me my first job. It was a paper route. We come from below the poverty line & hard working black family’s. I know LaPonne’s family & his mother Monica. He’s comes from a strong family tree. LaPonne would also protect me from the neighborhood bully’s. He was alway’s like a big brother to me. I didn’t have no sibling’s at the time. I bet he remember’s when my lil brother came into the word. I would go crying to LaPonne. I would run to LaPoone when my mom would be mean to me. He was always there for me. Then he moved away.
In the now !!!! As I like to say. I have connected with my childhood thru Facebook. Imagine that. 38 year’s later. We talk on the phone. I love his message. I bought the book on Amazon. Not just to support him, but to get to know about the trials and tribulations of his journey since the last time I seen him. So stay tuned. I bought the book, but haven’t had time to read it. I’ll leave another review when I’m done. One day at a time I like to say.
Much love King ! -Mone
