Overview

Do you know of a King who had no kingdom? What was the Bumblebee’s Plight? Have you ever met an Eccentric Con Man? How far would you go to protect your ice cream? Eleven year old Max Snyder welcomes you to his vivid world of imagination. Max started writing poems when he was eight. ‘School’ and ‘Rebellion’ were written during that time as part of his class assignments. The rest of the poems in this book were written during the summer months over the last two years. Max drew the pictures of ‘The Autonomous Airship’ and ‘The Knowing Owl’ first, then composed the poems afterwards. One of Ili’s passions is painting in watercolor. She loved how whimsical Max’s poems were and transformed them into the watercolor illustrations in this book.
