A pretty wild ride for a poetry book. Reads more like a Faulkner or Donna Tartt novel. If you like Frank Stanford, EE Cummings, and Bukowski give this collection a shot.

I don’t really like poetry, but this book hits different. Reads like a short story or novel. Or like listening to Outkast. Readers say he’s like Bukowski, but Stocks pushes the limits way more than Bukowski did.
