Wow Wow Wow!! This Author knows how to speak directly to kids and helps explain the pain they might be going through because of grief! Thank you for such an amazing story of pain healed through friendship! Illustrated beautifully and well written, I highly recommend Are You Okay, to anyone going through such sadness after a death. She gives hope at a time when there isn’t any!

FINALLY, SOMEONE UNDERSTANDS GRIEF!
Finally, a touching story that anyone can relate to, especially your children that need to understand they are not alone with how and what they are feeling. I definitely recommend it to anyone who has a child or young adult grieving in the family. This book really explains how kids feel. I highly recommend this book to any family!

Beautifully written! the weight of grief is shown throughout each illustration! This book is written with great thought and experience! Grief isn’t easy and there isn’t one solution for all. Amazing in every way! This book lets you have tough conversations with kids who are grieving and gives applicable strategies for coping and healing. It reminds us that kids hurt too and need a good friend or loved one throughout this process. The author didn’t shy away from the harshness of death in such an uncertain time. Well done and truly written from experience. This book will be a great addition to any family who has recently lost a loved one. I can’t wait to see what is next! I am an instant fan of her candor.
