Dr. Rita Carr rejoices in the work that her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has done in her life. She is the founder of Hope Unlimited Ministries, which also serves Single parents in various countries. Dr. Carr also provides various Christ-centered programs, conferences, and services to the Single parent community and those in need. She received the 2022 Governor’s Excellence Award. Dr. Carr also reaches many through the various Radio programs that she provides weekly.
She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Behavior, a Master’s Degree in Education, and a Doctorate degree in Christian counseling. She is a licensed counselor through the Tennessee Board of Mental Health and Mental Retardation. She is clinically certified through the College of Forensic Counselors as a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist and a Domestic Violence Counselor. She is also Nationally Certified as an addictions counselor. She also has her credentials as a Sex Trafficking provider and as an Alcohol and Drug counselor (NAADAC).
Dr. Carr is also a certified Co-occurring disorder specialist and a certified Juvenile Treatment Specialist through the National Association of Forensic Counselors.
She has published previous books through her My Journey Home series such as: There is Hope for Single-Parent Families and Hurting Women; Jesus Christ, the Rescuer of Wounded Emotions; Lord, I Surrender; and Jesus Christ, My Hope in Grief: My Gentle Giant, Victor Carr.
